Vintage kimono silk dress

Vintage but modern taste silk kimono is made into a lovely cocoon line dress with frills in the centre which is very cite.

The fabric is called Tsumugi silk, which is very lightweight and durable. Soft on your skin and drapy. You can enjoy the dress even during colder season with long sleeves underneath.

Hena Hena's creations are upcycled with vintage silk kimonos which are imported from Japan and they are carefully unpicked by myself. I mainly use kimonos from 1950s and before. Because of their age of fabrics there could be some flaws like small marks, pinholes, colour fade, old smell etc. but they have incredibly graceful taste that only vintage kimonos have. I hope you enjoy and love the beauty of vintage kimono silks including their histories to be embraced.
