Nest Scientific polycarbonate (PC) Erlenmeyer Shaker Flasks are ideal for culture bacteria and growing suspended cell cultures. This line offers flat bottoms which are gentler on cells than baffled bottoms. They also feature hydrophobic 0.22um membranes in the caps for sterile gas exchange. Vented caps are ideal for cell cultures that need to exchange carbon dioxide to reach the right pH. The polycarbonate material allows these flasks to be autoclaved and reused 5-6 times. The vent caps are not autoclavable, but sterile replacement caps can be purchased separately.
