1980's The Vested Gentress Dress

Hand Screen Print, Valley Forge, PA

This is a Lovely Print Designed in a Light Green Background, with Turquoise, Kelly Green, and White Shells. It is trimmed in Light Green Fabric Pleated around the Neck. And, of course, there is the "vg" signature throughout the design. The Sleeves and collar are bordered in Turquoise. The hem is 3. 5" so there is plenty of room to lengthen if needed. There is a turquoise belt with loops or you can cut off the loops and wear it loose as a shift. The zipper is light green plastic and is nice and long for ease of getting dressed. The inside of the dress is lined with a soft feeling white fabric and the hem is finished with lace. The Fashion Guild states that the 80's labels had the crop in the lady's hand and prior to to that decade they did not. This is so subtle that many items may be thought to be 60's and 70's, and they are actually 80's.

This is meant to be a shift style, not real snuggly fitted. It was sized originally as a 12. Now it should fit an 8 to 10 nicely.
