This stole part of our collection ‘Prantik’, is hand woven in Tussar Silk. It is hand-block printed and hand embroidered in Kantha - a timeless craft of Bengal. Karomi Kanthas are a combination of intricate web of running stitches and bold, geometric prints, with each raised stitch adding a speck of color. Rooted in craft, innovative in design and unmatched in craftsmanship. Creating a Karomi Kantha is a tedious process requiring skill, time and patience; each piece nurtured with love. A single stole approximately has a quarter of  a million stitches that requires a minimum of 200 (wo)man-hours to make.
