Garment Details: A timeless wardrobe staple, the Classic Shirt features traditional shirt making techniques in a chic, modern cut.

Sizing: This is a multi-size pattern, including sizes 6-28. Sizes run true to UK sizing - full sizing details, including finished garment measurements can be found here.

Fit notes: The classic shirt is fitted on the shoulders and flows into an A-line shape with a deep scooped V-shape hem. We've made every effort to make this style fitted and smart but very comfortable. 

Suitable fabrics: Light weight cottons and linens are perfect for this style

Fabric width 150cm | Sizes 4 - 12 = 170cm | Sizes 14 - 20 = 200cm | Sizes 22 - 28 = 210cm

Fabric width 110cm | Sizes 4 - 12 = 210cm | Sizes 14 - 20 = 265cm | Sizes 22 - 28 = 290cm

Trims required: Matching thread, 9 x small buttons (about 1cm wide), thread, about 40cm of high quality fusing

Skill level: Suitable for beginners and early makers. 

Construction techniques: Classic collar & collar stand, placket & cuffs, french seam, eased sleeve head & pin hem.
