The strap is a wide single panel of natural-grain horse leather — finer and denser than bovine, matte black, with no exterior stitching. Four linear 925 sterling silver bars sit pinned through the strap in a vertical column, muted rather than polished. The polyurethane sole provides a firm, grounded base. Horse leather will develop its own patina with wear — the grain marking every contact point over months of use, the surface mapping itself to the foot.
