How could you not fall in love with this fitted Qi Pao style dress in pure silk!?

This stunning, traditional dress comes in the most luxurious, soft silk you've ever touched! Not to be mistaken for later 1970's and newer Peony brand products - I have never seen a souvenir garment by Peony brand with this kind of quality and craftsmanship!! Body of dress is made of this resilient silk, with red satin touches at short sleeve cuffs and along side front closure. Neckline is mandarin style and closure has five gold and red frogs with hidden metal snaps. An extremely fitted cut, with two side slits that travel far up the leg to account for the wiggle dress style cut. My favorite detail is the fine hand-embroidery of flowers and butterflies along red banding (see detail pic!). Label reads 'Peony Brand, Shanghai, China, size 32'. Please be sure to double-check measurements as this is a very small dress (as you can see from it not fitting on our dress form!).

Condition is excellent with light stress to seams, especially at waist and some very light, unnoticeable discoloration near back hem (please see pics).
